Fleas are commonly in Michigan. They’re called cat fleas. Most of the common ones, you see the harbor on dogs and parts and they get inside. They can be carried in from outside throughout the warm part of the year. But it’s not as common as people that have their animals get attracted, you know, fleas are attracted to. And then they come in their home and they have fleas fleas have four different life stages.

Anything over the counter that you use only kills one of those life stages there. And is certain chemicals we use that eliminate two of those life stages. Still, fleas can take four to six weeks, some say six to eight weeks to completely get rid of. They’re still not hard to kill if you have the right program in place.
